The well-being of our clients and team is top priority and we follow guidelines in accordance with Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act. 

Here’s a snapshot of the precautions we are taking:

Client Protocols

• Discuss scope and location of work with clients to understand use of home space and ensure proper physical distancing is maintained during work completed. 

• Limiting face-to-face discussion during work day (detailed updates can be provided via email, text or phone if necessary)

• Always being respectful of client’s wishes in regards to face coverings and physical distancing protocols.

• Providing referral to a professional cleaning service, Direct Disinfect, that can sanitize interiors after work has been completed.

Team Protocols

• Encouraging team members to use good cough and sneeze etiquette and to avoid touching their face

• Working with the local public health unit if any workers have COVID-19 or are exposed to someone with COVID-19

• Encourage team members to monitor their own symptoms at all times

• Ask team members to use the online COVID-19 self assessment online tool at home if they have any symptoms and to follow the instructions

• Reducing the number of people who must share the same space including during shifts, lunch and other breaks where possible

• Using available outdoor space whenever possible (for example, for lunch breaks)

• Providing ways to properly clean hands by providing access to soap and water and, if that is not possible, alcohol-based hand sanitizer

• Ensure that workers can clean their hands frequently and whenever needed

• Gathering information for contact tracing
